I loved how Growing Book by Book capitalized on her son’s interest in hatching bird eggs to work on learning letters sounds with this beginning sounds Easter egg game.

Reply Beginning Sounds Easter Egg game - Fun Crafts Kids says. The Big Book of Beginning Sounds is a great source for cut and paste activities for consonants. Drew. out of 5 stars Beginning Sounds.5/5(4). Beginning Sounds Activity – Growing Book by Book Although this ice melt activity requires a tad more prep (mostly just planning ahead) than most activities, it is definitely a memorable craft that involves a shoebox plastic container, small plastic toys, a water can, and a spoon/mallet.

A lot of beginning sound activities use the letter names of “i” and “u” like “ice cream” and “unicorn” instead of the actual sounds of the letters like in “igloo” and “umbrella”. I have to commend you and thank you for noticing the difference and having the letter sounds and not the names.

I love these activities. Thank you!.
